The Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) is an entrance exam conducted annually for admission into B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) programs in colleges and universities across Rajasthan. Administered by the state government or a designated university, the PTET exam serves as a gateway for individuals aspiring to pursue a professional teaching career.

Purpose of the PTET Exam

The PTET exam is designed to assess candidates’ suitability for teaching and their aptitude for acquiring advanced skills in education. Clearing this exam allows candidates to enrol in a two-year B.Ed. course or an integrated four-year B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification:
   • For B.Ed. (2-year program):
     • Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
   • For Integrated B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. (4-year program):
     • Candidates must have passed 12th standard with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
