Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • Subjects:

    • Arithmetic
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Number of Questions: 120
  • Marking Scheme:
    • +1 for every correct answer
    • -0.25 for every incorrect answer

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

This stage evaluates the physical fitness and measurements of candidates.

    • Running: 1600 meters in 6 minutes 30 seconds (Male) / 800 meters in 4 minutes (Female).
    • High Jump: 1.2 meters (Male) / 0.9 meters (Female).
    • Long Jump: 3.65 meters (Male) / 2.7 meters (Female).
  • For Constable:
    • Running: 1600 meters in 5 minutes 45 seconds (Male) / 800 meters in 3 minutes 40 seconds (Female).
    • High Jump: 1.0 meters (Male) / 0.8 meters (Female).
    • Long Jump: 3.4 meters (Male) / 2.7 meters (Female).

Stage 3: Document Verification (DV)

Shortlisted candidates are required to provide original documents, such as educational certificates, identity proof, and caste/category certificates (if applicable).

Stage 4: Medical Examination

Candidates undergo a medical fitness test to ensure they meet the standards for the job.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualification:
    • Sub-Inspector (SI): Graduation from a recognized university.
    • Constable: 10th/12th pass from a recognized board.

    • Sub-Inspector (SI): 20 to 25 years
