    • Maximum: 30 years
    • Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per government norms.

 

Exam Pattern

The SBI PO exam is conducted in three phases:

1. Preliminary Examination

  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Subjects: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability
  • Purpose: Serves as a screening test for the mains examination

2. Main Examination

  • Duration: 3 hours for objective questions, plus 30 minutes for a descriptive test
  • Subjects: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language
  • Descriptive Test: Essay and letter writing

3. Group Exercise & Interview

  • Candidates shortlisted from the mains exam are called for the group exercise and interview stage, which assesses communication skills, leadership qualities, and decision-making abilities.
